Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles UAE VAT regulations and financial documentation
Key Responsibilities- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and post journal entries invoices receipts and payment transactions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank customer and supplier reconciliations
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports
- Monitor income expenses payments and collections
- Prepare and maintain proper supporting documentation for all financial transactions
- Assist with VAT preparation filing and compliance in accordance with UAE regulations
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and reports
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending payments
- Verify supplier invoices and ensure timely processing of payments
- Maintain organized accounting records and ensure confidentiality of financial information
- Assist management with financial analysis and reporting when required
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 2 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- UAE accounting experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of UAE VAT and basic tax compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software ERP systems
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience working in the UAE.
- Experience with VAT filing and reconciliation.
- Experience in automotive, trading, logistics, or commercial vehicle businesses is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
