We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities within the shipping industry.
Key Responsibilities- Handle daily accounting transactions invoices payments and receipts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- and perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports statements and account schedules
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables
- Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents
- Coordinate with internal teams vendors and customers on finance-related matters
- Support VAT audits and other statutory requirements
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the Shipping/Marine industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
