Finance & Accounting Specialist

A detail-oriented and proactive Finance & Accounting Specialist to support its finance operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, and assisting in maintaining strong financial controls across the organization.

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process supplier payments and follow up on outstanding customer receivables.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis exercises.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in VAT preparation, filing, and related compliance activities.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow activities and support treasury-related functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
