Junior Auditor​/Audit Associate

We are looking for a motivated Junior Auditor / Audit Associate to join our external audit team at Samer Hamadeh Auditors and Accountants L.L.C.

The role provides practical exposure to external audit engagements, financial statements, IFRS, ISA, client fieldwork and professional audit documentation.

• External audit fieldwork and substantive testing
• Preparing audit working papers and documenting audit evidence
• Reviewing trial balances, general ledgers and supporting documents
• Bank, receivable and payable confirmations
• Inventory counts and other verification procedures
• Financial statement preparation and review
• Client communication and follow-up
• Maintaining audit documentation using Microsoft 365 and Share Point

This is primarily a client-site based role
. Audit assignments are mainly located in:

• Abu Dhabi
• ICAD
• Al Ain

Occasional assignments may also require travel to Dubai and Sharjah
.

Candidates must therefore be comfortable working at different client locations as required by audit assignments.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Good written and spoken English
• Arabic-speaking ability would be appreciated
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work professionally at client locations
• Willingness to travel within the UAE as required by assignments
• A valid UAE driving licence and own car would be an advantage
• Knowledge of IFRS and ISA is an advantage
