Travel Coordination
- Logistics: coordinate travel itineraries including flight bookings in line with academic schedules, institutional requirements, and outlined budget guidelines.
- Arrange for visa documents for students in coordination with the Academics, Student Affairs, and Admissions teams.
- Communicate with relevant IITD-AD approved travel agencies and service providers for timely bookings.
- Ensure all travel bookings are accurately documented and communicated to the students accordingly.
- Documentation related to the cost of travel for each student for budgeting purposes.
- Help arrange student orientations at the beginning of the semester.
- Assist with visa applications, documentation, and submission processes.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities, embassies, and internal departments for visa processing.
- Ensure all travel documentation (passports, visas, insurance approvals) is complete and compliant.
- Maintain updated records about visa status and apply for renewal in accordance with regulations.
- Documentation related to the cost of visa for each student for budgeting purposes.
- Support an Sr. Associate in resolving travel‑related issues, including delays, cancellations, or emergencies.
- Help an Sr. Associate keep proper documentation for approvals, reimbursements, and audit purposes.
- Stay updated on travel regulations, visa policies, and UAE compliance requirements.
- Assist in the coordination and logistical arrangements for student activities and events as and when required.
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a higher education setting, preferably within student services or administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with student information systems (e.g., Banner, People Soft).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and empathetically to diverse audiences.
