Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure a flawless foundation for paint application.
- Accurately mix paint colors to match existing finishes or customer specifications using color‑matching systems and extensive knowledge of paint formulations.
- Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats with precision using spray guns, achieving uniform coverage and desired sheen.
- Operate and maintain spray booths and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance and a dust‑free environment for superior results.
- Vocational training or certification in automotive refinishing is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience as an automotive spray painter.
- Demonstrated expertise in various paint systems (e.g., waterborne, solvent‑borne) and application techniques.
