Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily tire shop and workshop operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise and coordinate tire installation staff, daily work assignments, and service schedules.
- Install, remove, rotate, balance, and replace tires according to vehicle and manufacturer requirements.
- Inspect tires, wheels, valves, and related components for wear, damage, or safety concerns.
- Operate tire changers, wheel balancers, air compressors, and other workshop equipment safely.
- Perform tire pressure checks, puncture repairs, wheel balancing, and basic tire-related services where required.
- Advise customers on suitable tires, tire condition, maintenance, and replacement requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, quotations, sales, complaints, and after-sales service professionally.
- Monitor tire inventory, stock levels, orders, deliveries, and storage conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, services, inventory, customer information, and workshop activities.
- Ensure workshop tools, equipment, service areas, and customer vehicles are handled safely and properly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely availability of tires and related products.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, safety, and customer service within the shop.
- Monitor sales performance, service quality, productivity, and other operational requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and service quality.
- Previous experience as a Tire Shop Manager, Tire Technician, Tire Installer, Automotive Technician, Workshop Supervisor, or similar role.
- Practical experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, puncture repair, and basic automotive servicing.
- Good knowledge of tire sizes, specifications, pressure requirements, tread wear, and wheel safety.
- Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate workshop staff effectively.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Comfortable working in a busy automotive workshop environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift and handle tires and equipment for extended periods.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with POS or inventory systems would be an advantage.
- Experience in automotive retail, tire dealerships, or vehicle service centers would be an advantage.
- Relevant automotive or technical certification would be an advantage.
- Valid driving licence would be an advantage.
- Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, or extended hours when required.
- Fluent English required; additional languages would be an advantage.
