- Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming vehicle parts and materials, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications and workshop standards.
- Oversee and verify the quality of repair work performed by technicians, from initial diagnosis to final assembly, using checklists and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform road tests on repaired vehicles to confirm the effectiveness of repairs and identify any lingering issues before customer delivery.
- Document all inspection findings, quality deviations, and corrective actions taken in a clear and organized manner for record-keeping and analysis.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent.
- Has a minimum of 2 years of progressive experience as a technician or quality inspector in an automotive workshop environment.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures across various makes and models.
