Diagnostic Technician - Automotive Aftersales

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join its Aftersales team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role involves advanced vehicle diagnostics, complex fault identification, and technical repairs carried out in accordance with manufacturer standards. Reporting to the Aftersales Supervisor or Aftersales Manager, the Diagnostic Technician will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults affecting engines, drive trains, chassis, steering, suspension, brakes, and related automotive systems.

The position requires the ability to perform Level III diagnostic and repair activities, independently complete Level I repairs, and use manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment and technical manuals. The successful candidate will contribute to workshop productivity, first-time repair quality, and customer satisfaction while providing accurate technical feedback to support ongoing service and product improvements. Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in a reputable automotive dealership or workshop, supported by a High School Certificate and a technical qualification in Automotive Technology or a related discipline.
