Al-Futtaim is seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator to support rental fleet maintenance and repair operations in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role is responsible for coordinating the daily movement, maintenance, and accident repairs of rental vehicles to maintain high fleet availability and minimize vehicle downtime. Working closely with workshops, drivers, insurance companies, surveyors, and external vendors, the Technical Coordinator will monitor vehicle repair progress, manage workshop assignments, follow up on insurance approvals, and ensure vehicles are returned to service as efficiently as possible.
The position also involves maintaining accurate vehicle records in Car Pro, preparing repair status reports, monitoring turnaround times, and escalating operational delays that affect fleet availability. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in fleet operations, rent-a-car maintenance, or workshop coordination, with practical knowledge of accident repairs, insurance follow-up procedures, and fleet management systems.

- Fleet and Vehicle Coordination
- Arrange vehicle transfers between rental branches and workshops.
- Assign vehicles to appropriate workshops based on their maintenance or repair requirements.
- Coordinate vehicle movements to support efficient fleet operations.

- Workshop Coordination and Repair Monitoring
- Open and close workshop work orders as required.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery and collection arrangements with drivers.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and document identified repair requirements.
- Prepare repair estimates supported by relevant photographs.
- Follow up with workshops on ongoing repairs and expected completion dates.
- Monitor repair progress and identify potential turnaround delays.
- Conduct joint vehicle inspections before release.
- Participate in vehicle test drives before repaired vehicles are returned to service.
- Coordinate with workshop personnel to resolve outstanding technical or operational concerns.
