What You Will Do- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot EV systems, including high-voltage components and battery systems
- Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards
- Complete repairs right the first time, minimizing vehicle downtime
- Perform vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting
- Follow all high-voltage safety procedures, workshop processes, and 5S standards
- Ensure efficient use of parts, tools, and workshop resources
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV technology and the latest automotive innovations'
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and automotive systems
- Understanding of EV technology, battery systems, and charging systems is preferred
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC, or equivalent technical qualification
- 2-3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, General Repair Technician, or EV Technician
- Hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
- Experience working on Electric Vehicles (EVs) or Hybrid Vehicles is highly preferred
- EV or High-Voltage (HV) certification is an advantage
- Experience using manufacturer diagnostic tools and repair manuals
- Good understanding of electrical, electronic, and high-voltage vehicle systems
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Passion for new technologies and electric mobility
