Auto Mechanic

The Auto Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mechanical components on a variety of vehicle makes and models. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on experience with mechanical systems, and the ability to ensure all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

• Repair or replace worn and faulty mechanical components as specified on the job card.
• Remove, dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble vehicle assemblies including engines, transmissions, clutches, gearboxes, differentials, and suspension systems.
• Conduct testing, cleaning, and adjustments on repaired or replaced components to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify proper operation of repaired and assembled parts.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace engine management and fuel injection system components.
• Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks or hoists to access and repair underbody mechanical systems.
• Perform brake relining and adjustments, front‑end alignments, shock absorber repairs and replacements, and radiator leak repairs.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and workshop quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Foreman or Bodyshop Supervisor.

• High Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar automotive mechanic role.
• Multi‑brand vehicle repair experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems, engine diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults efficiently.
• Familiarity with automotive repair tools, workshop equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills in English.
