Position Overview:

As a Buyer at Star Services LLC, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services necessary for our operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our company has the necessary resources to meet our clients' needs and maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
  • Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions that may impact purchasing decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a similar industry
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with procurement software
    • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
