Institutional Effectiveness Senior Specialist Description
The Institutional Effectiveness Senior Specialist will drive the university’s Quality Assurance Framework, manage data collection and analysis, coordinate audits and accreditation activities, and produce key institutional publications. The role ensures compliance, informs decision‑making, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement across academic and administrative units.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement KU’s Quality Assurance Framework aligned with accreditation standards.
- Coordinate data collection, validation, and documentation for QA reviews and audits.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to verify compliance and support improvement initiatives.
- Design and administer surveys, focus groups, and other feedback tools to capture stakeholder input.
- Analyze academic and administrative performance data, identify improvement areas, and monitor enhancement plans.
- Prepare and contribute to the Factbook, Annual Report, and other institutional publications ensuring data accuracy.
- Facilitate capacity‑building activities such as workshops, consultation sessions, and training on QA practices.
- Compile and submit institutional data to MoHESR, ADEK, QS, THE and other external bodies.
- Create analytical dashboards and summaries highlighting trends and actionable insights.
- Adhere to information security, confidentiality policies and promote a safe, healthy work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, IT or a related field.
- Minimum years of relevant experience: 4 - 7
- Proven experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or institutional effectiveness.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Arabic is a plus. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience designing and administering surveys, focus groups, or similar feedback mechanisms.
- Familiarity with higher‑education accreditation standards and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of information security and data confidentiality best practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively across academic and administrative departments.
