Lead and direct the organization’s international commercial operations, business growth initiatives, strategic partnerships, and contractual activities across Oil & Gas, Dredging, Marine, Offshore, EPC, and infrastructure-related projects while ensuring commercial sustainability, profitability, and long-term market positioning
Develop and implement international commercial strategies, tendering frameworks, pricing models, and client engagement plans that strengthen competitive advantage, maximize revenue generation, improve project margins, and support regional and global expansion objectives
Oversee the full commercial lifecycle including opportunity identification, pre-qualification, bid management, contract negotiations, risk mitigation, claims management, and post-award commercial governance while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, contractual obligations, and international business standards

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute international commercial strategies aligned with the organization’s long-term growth objectives, ensuring sustainable revenue generation, improved profitability, market penetration, and enhanced positioning within Oil & Gas, Offshore, Dredging, Marine, EPC, and infrastructure sectors
Lead and manage the commercial, business development, tendering, estimation, contracts, and proposal functions across international operations while establishing performance targets, operational frameworks, governance standards, and measurable commercial outcomes
Identify, evaluate, and secure new international business opportunities through strategic market analysis, client engagement, networking initiatives, industry intelligence, and proactive relationship management with clients, partners, consultants, and governmental entities
Direct the preparation, review, and submission of complex international tenders, bids, and commercial proposals ensuring technical alignment, commercial competitiveness, contractual compliance, financial viability, and adherence to organizational approval processes
Lead high-level commercial negotiations with international clients, joint venture partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve commercially favorable terms, minimize organizational exposure, and strengthen long-term business relationships
Establish and maintain robust contract management processes for EPC, offshore, dredging, marine construction, vessel operations, and Oil & Gas service agreements while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, legal frameworks, and commercial commitments
Provide strategic commercial guidance to executive leadership regarding project risks, market conditions, pricing strategies, competitor positioning, business expansion opportunities, and contractual liabilities impacting operational and financial performance
Oversee commercial risk management activities including identification, evaluation, mitigation, and resolution of contractual, financial, operational, geopolitical, and regulatory risks associated with international projects and business operations
Manage and support claims preparation, variation orders, dispute resolution, extension of time submissions, commercial settlements, and arbitration support activities to protect organizational interests and maximize commercial recovery
Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, procurement, finance, legal, and project management teams to ensure commercial alignment throughout project execution, cost control, contractual administration, and change management processes
