We are seeking an experienced Emirati Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to join our team. We are an Abu Dhabi local government entity.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and awareness programs
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Monitor and improve workplace safety performance and emergency preparedness
- Support business continuity planning and incident prevention initiatives
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety management systems, risk management, and emergency planning
- Familiarity with ISO standards and EHS best practices
- NEBOSH IGC, OSHAD, and ISO 45001/14001 auditing certifications are highly desired
