Job description

Dubai Healthcare City Authority (DHCA), the governing body of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), was established in 2011 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with a mandate to advance DHCC as the emirate’s healthcare and wellness free zone. DHCA oversees the development of DHCC’s ecosystem, which operates at an intersection of healthcare, wellness, community living and regulation, and facilitates business set-up across medical care, wellness, academic and research.

  • Supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Health and Safety programs across Dubai Healthcare City.
  • Assists in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and evaluations to mitigate operational HSE risks.
  • Supports internal assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO, OSHA, and Dubai Government regulations.
  • Reviews and improves HSE procedures, tools, and operational practices to enhance safety and productivity.
  • Assists in emergency preparedness and disaster management activities, including evacuation drills with external agencies.
  • Promotes HSE awareness through training, coaching, and safety programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provides HSE guidance, technical support, and consultation to internal departments and business partners.
  • Coordinates with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance with HSE standards and procedures.
  • Maintains HSE documentation, incident reporting systems, and prepares regular performance reports and recommendations.
  • Assists with Permit to Work processes, IMS certification activities, policy updates, and monitoring changes in HSE legislation and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science or Occupational Health & Safety or Environment Management or equivalent
