We’re currently supporting a leading Abu Dhabi-based organisation in the search for a Market Intelligence Manager to join its Strategy & Growth function.
This is an opportunity for an experienced market intelligence professional to play a key role in providing the research, analysis and insights that support strategic and commercial decision-making across a complex Group environment.
The successful candidate will analyse market trends, competitor activity, customer demand, pricing and regulatory developments, translating complex data and market evidence into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility include:- Managing market intelligence research across local, regional and international markets
- Conducting market studies, competitor analysis, demand assessments and pricing analysis
- Monitoring sector trends, regulatory developments and emerging market opportunities
- Identifying potential growth areas, market risks and changes in the competitive landscape
- Translating data and research into clear commercial and strategic recommendations
- Preparing market opportunity briefs, leadership insight packs, dashboards and decision materials
- Partnering with Strategy, Commercial, Sustainability, Innovation and Operations teams
- Maintaining high standards of data quality, research methodology and market intelligence reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve market intelligence tools, processes and reporting
- Experience with in waste management, infrastructure, utilities, environmental services sector is mandatory
- 7+ years’ experience within market intelligence, market research, strategy, commercial intelligence or a related analytical role
- Strong experience analysing markets, competitors, customers, demand, pricing and industry trends
- Ability to take complex data and turn it into clear, decision-ready insights and recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting capability
- Experience working within a large, complex or multi-entity organisation
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline; a relevant Master’s degree or professional qualification would be advantageous
