Senior Business Analyst – Aladdin & eFront

Contract: 12 Weeks Initially

Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel to Abu Dhabi

We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager (BA/PM) with strong expertise in Black Rock Aladdin, eFront and Investment Management to support a major investment management transformation programme.

The project involves the migration from MSCI Barra to Black Rock Aladdin
, with a particular focus on Private Assets, Risk, Performance and Investment Analytics
.

Aladdin has already been implemented; however, due to the organisation's significant Private Markets / Alternative Investments exposure, further eFront customisation and configuration is being undertaken.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors to ensure that the Aladdin and eFront solutions meet business requirements, integrate effectively and align with stakeholder expectations
.

This is a hands‑on BA/PM role
, requiring a combination of strong investment management domain knowledge, platform expertise, business analysis and project delivery capabilities.

• Support the Barra to Aladdin migration
  , ensuring business requirements, investment analytics and risk capabilities are appropriately addressed.
• Work closely with Aladdin and eFront teams to review ongoing configuration, customisation and integration activities.
• Gather, document and validate business and functional requirements
  , particularly across Private Assets, Investment Risk, Performance and Portfolio Analytics.
• Assess whether the eFront configuration and customisations meet business expectations and the requirements of the wider Aladdin environment.
• Identify functional gaps, dependencies and integration challenges across investment management platforms.
• Coordinate with business users, investment teams, technology stakeholders and third‑party vendors to drive successful delivery.
• Support data mapping, migration validation, reconciliation and UAT
  , ensuring the solution meets agreed business requirements.
• Manage project deliverables, milestones, risks and issues, providing clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between the implemented solution, investment processes and the target operating model
  .

• Strong experience as a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager within Asset Management, Investment Management or Sovereign Wealth Funds
  .
• Proven experience working with Black Rock Aladdin
  , ideally involving implementation, migration, integration or transformation programmes.
• Good knowledge of eFront
  , particularly its use within Private Assets / Alternative Investments
  .
• Experience with MSCI Barra / Barra One
  , investment risk platforms or performance and attribution solutions.
• Strong understanding of Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure and/or Alternative Investments
  .
• Experience delivering investment platform migrations, system configuration, integration and business change
  .
• Understanding of investment risk, portfolio analytics, performance measurement and attribution
  .
• Strong business analysis skills covering requirements gathering, gap analysis, process mapping, testing and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrable project management and delivery experience
  , including vendor coordination and managing delivery expectations.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior investment, operations and technology stakeholders.
• Previous experience with Aladdin / eFront integration or whole‑portfolio investment management solutions.
• Experience working with Sovereign Wealth Funds, Institutional Asset Managers or large Alternative Investment Managers

• Knowledge of IBOR, investment data, risk analytics and portfolio reporting
  .
• Previous involvement in Barra to Aladdin migrations
  .
• Experience working on international investment management programmes, particularly in the Middle East.
