Business Development Coordinator

As a Business Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth initiatives, forging partnerships, and supporting the commercialization of cutting-edge research in the life sciences sector. As part of our team in Abu Dhabi, you'll work in an ONSITE environment collaborating with stakeholders and advancing innovative healthcare solutions across the region.

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking across longevity medicine, life sciences, laboratory technologies, and healthcare innovation.
• Support partnership development through proposals, presentations, due diligence, licensing, technology transfer, and research commercialization activities.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagements, meetings, conferences, and partnership discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support grant applications, funding proposals, monthly performance reports, and management presentations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support business development priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure confidentiality, accurate documentation, and compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical, market research, business intelligence, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and proposal development skills.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Hub Spot
• Understanding of life sciences, healthcare innovation, technology transfer, intellectual property licensing, and research commercialization is an advantage.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Health Sciences, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Business or commercial qualifications are considered with relevant experience in the life sciences sector.
• 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare innovation, research commercialization, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience supporting strategic partnerships, technology transfer, licensing, or research collaborations, preferably within the GCC.
• Familiarity with the UAE's innovation and research landscape, including ADIO funding programs, government initiatives, and relevant free-zone regulations.
• Strong track record in market research, proposal preparation, stakeholder coordination, and management reporting.

• Certifications in business analysis, project management, market research, or business development.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in healthcare, scientific research, or technology-driven organizations.
