ATGC Transport and General Contracting L.L.C is hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs related to high‑rise building projects, from calculations to final figures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial & Contract Management
    • Contract Administration: Manage Main Contract and Sub‑contract conditions (typically FIDIC or bespoke high‑rise forms).
    • Variation Management: Identify, price, and negotiate variations resulting from design changes.
    • Claims Mitigation: Proactively identify risks and prepare detailed commercial claims for extensions of time or additional costs.
  • Procurement & Sub‑contractor Management
    • Package Ownership: Oversee specialized high‑rise procurement packages such as Curtain Walling/Façade
      , Vertical Transportation (Elevators), and Specialist MEP systems
      .
    • Negotiation: Conduct rigorous tender analysis and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure "back‑to‑back" agreement terms.
  • Cost Control & Reporting
    • CVR Preparation: Lead the monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) process.
    • Cash Flow Forecasting: Maintain accurate cash flow projections accounting for the unique "cycle time".
    • Budgeting: Manage the project budget, ensuring high‑risk items stay within limits.
  • Post‑Contract Duties
    • Valuations: Oversee interim valuations and progress payments based on verified site measurements.
    • Final Accounts: Lead the settlement of final accounts with client and subcontractors.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience: 8–12+ years in Quantity Surveying with at least 2–3 completed High‑Rise (30+ stories) projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in NRM2, SMM7, or CESMM measurement standards.
  • Software: Proficiency in CostX, Candy (CCS), or Bluebeam for on‑screen takeoffs.
  • Professional Body: MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent highly preferred.
