Job Description
- Implements safety policies, procedures and regulations in a construction site, and ensure it is followed.
- Monitors continuously the work on site and ensures all employees and workers are maintaining safe work practices.
- Conducts on site Safety briefings, toolbox, training, and campaigns and promote awareness.
- Promotes safe work practices on the job site and ensures all workers know how to follow safety procedures.
- Ensures first aid kit and fire extinguishers are inspected and readily accessible at work site.
- Acts as liaison between manpower and construction site employees on safety matters.
- Investigates accidents / incidents, determines root causes and reports them to Safety team.
- Maintains records and statistics on accidents or incidents causing a breach of safety regulations.
- Inspects new equipment / process prior to commissioning, reviews related designs and installation plans to ensure conformity to company safety standards and regulations.
- Participates in setting the specifications and descriptions of new fire equipment / systems to be ordered and supervises their installation and commissioning.
- Performs other duties assigned by immediate superior as & when required.
