Job Summary

KN International is seeking a Sr. Quantity Surveyor tosupport the client in managing cost control, BOQ, and contract administrationfor residential villas and associated infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction cost management,strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with contractors,vendors, and project teams to ensure projects are executed within budget and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for cost management, BOQ preparation, and contract administration for assigned projects.
• Develop andimplement cost control strategies and procedures to optimize project costsand minimize expenses.
• Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accurate cost estimationsand monitoring actual costs against budgets.
• Monitor projectcosts throughout the project lifecycle, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
• Administercontracts, review and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and variations incollaboration with legal and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, monitor contractor performance, and manageclaims or change orders.
• Evaluate vendorproposals, conduct prequalification, and participate in vendor selectionprocesses.
• Maintain strongvendor relationships, monitor compliance, and review/approve vendorinvoices and payments.
• Generate regular reports on project costs, cost variances, contract performance, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate withcross-functional teams to gather cost data, validate expenses, and provide guidance on cost-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degreein Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’sdegree preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects, preferably inthe UAE
  .
• In-depth knowledge of cost control principles, preparation of BOQ, contract management, and project management.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to analyze cost data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
• Excellentnegotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborateeffectively with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Proficiency incost control software, project management tools, and financial analysissoftware.
• Attention todetail and ability to maintain accuracy in cost calculations, contract administration, and documentation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Willingness towork on remote sites in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi.
