Construction Superintendent; Civil-Chennai; Walk-In 9th

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations, proactively managing on‑site challenges.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, providing clear direction, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely completion of their work packages within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to identify and rectify defects, maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budget and expenses, track costs, and identify areas for cost savings while maintaining quality and safety.

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in construction principles and practices.
• 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering civil projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and blueprints, ensuring accurate project execution.
• Valid certification such as OSHA 30 or equivalent, showcasing commitment to safety and workplace regulations.
• Relevant experience in Pipeline, EPC, Oil & Gas, Flowline, Brownfield, Upstream Facilities, or Wellhead projects.
• Preference for candidates with prior Gulf experience, especially those who have worked on ADNOC projects.
• Must not have Building construction experience except for road safety coordination.
• Candidates with Metro Line, Building Line, or Road Infrastructure experience are NOT eligible.
