Position Overview

This Construction Assistant role in Abu Dhabi supports survey and site activities across AECOM's major infrastructure and buildings projects. The position is entry‑level and designed for individuals beginning their career in construction support, offering hands‑on exposure to field operations, documentation, inspections, and equipment handling within a structured supervision environment.

• Support survey and construction teams with day‑to‑day site activities.
• Assist with setting up, operating, and maintaining tools, instruments, and construction equipment.
• Conduct basic inspections of engineering installations to verify compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including logs, checklists, and field records.
• Assist in repair, maintenance, or basic building tasks as instructed by supervisors.
• Perform routine activities related to structural, roadway, or utility works.
• Follow established procedures, safety rules, and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with site staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely task completion.
• Support monitoring activities and assist with site preparation tasks.
• Learn and apply construction standards, field practices, and quality expectations.

• Entry‑level role; previous experience not required.
• Basic understanding of construction or survey procedures is an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn on‑site operations and technical tasks.
