Senior Civil Construction Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and site supervision ensuring successful project execution in compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Oversee site activities including resource allocation, subcontractor coordination, and progress monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with design teams, architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
• Prepare, review, and manage project documentation including reports, contracts, and permits.
• Implement risk management strategies and proactively resolve construction-related issues.
• Optimize construction methods and material usage to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers and site personnel.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, government authorities, suppliers, and internal teams.

• 12 15 years of relevant experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Proven experience in civil construction, infrastructure development, high‑rise building projects, and government projects.
• Strong background in Quality Management, Health & Safety (QHSE).
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil preferred).
• ESTIDAMA certification (Advantage, not mandatory).
