Estimation Engineer Joinery​/Fitout

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for joinery and fit-out work.
• Review project drawings and specifications to identify materials, quantities and cost implications.
• Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and variation claims.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor project costs and progress to ensure budget control.
• Monitor market rates and maintain a cost database.
• Prepare progress valuations, interim applications and final accounts.
• Coordinate closely with design, production and project teams for cost and material control.
• Maintain accurate records and cost reports for ongoing projects.
• Conduct site visits for quantity verification and progress assessments.
• Support project handover by providing estimation details to the execution team.
• Coordinate material submittals, technical data sheets, samples and approval processes with clients, consultants, suppliers and project teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in estimation, specifically within the joinery and fitout sectors of the construction industry.
• Proficiency in using estimation software (e.g., CostX, Planswift, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and fitout processes.
