Lifting Supervisor

Desert Man Transporting Contracting LLC (DMTC), a leading infrastructure transportation and civil construction company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced strong Lifting Supervisor to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all lifting operations on infrastructure, road, utility, pipeline and construction projects while ensuring compliance with UAE safety regulations and project requirements.

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting activities on site.
• Ensure lifting operations are executed safely and in accordance with approved lifting plans and method statements.
• Conduct pre‑lift inspections of cranes, lifting equipment and accessories.
• Verify the competency and certification of crane operators, riggers and signalmen.
• Review and approve lifting permits before commencement of work.
• Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and project standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Construction Managers and HSE personnel.
• Investigate and report lifting incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.
• Maintain records of lifting equipment inspections and certifications.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings related to lifting activities.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Valid Lifting Supervisor certification from a recognized authority.
• Minimum 5‑10 years of UAE experience in lifting operations within infrastructure, roadworks, utilities, pipeline, earthworks or heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Mobile cranes, Crawler cranes, Tower cranes, Heavy lifting operations, Rigging practices and UAE HSE regulations.
• Familiarity with ADNOC, Abu Dhabi Municipality and major infrastructure project requirements is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
