Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to lead and control all on‑site activities and subcontractors for major Roads and Bridges infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
Site Management & Supervision- Oversee day‑to‑day site operations for infrastructure works and ensure all activities are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and project schedules.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labor involved in infrastructure construction to ensure efficient and optimal use of resources.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and site‑specific rules.
- Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures to ensure project standards are consistently met.
- Monitor site workmanship and material compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure all construction activities meet local and national regulatory requirements, including necessary permits and approvals.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and progress updates.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, site logs, and documentation to management.
- Address and resolve issues that may affect progress, quality, or safety.
- Lead and supervise the site team, promoting collaboration, efficiency, and accountability.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure the workforce is aligned with project goals and safety requirements.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. - Experience:
Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with mandatory hands‑on experience in infrastructure works including roads & bridges.
