Site Supervision & Execution

  • Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction and maintenance activities at site.
  • Oversee works including earthworks and excavation, foundations and concrete works, structural civil works, roads and access infrastructure, drainage systems, underground utilities, buildings, and support facilities.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate daily work activities to ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor work progress and productivity and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.
  • Identify site constraints and operational challenges and provide practical solutions to maintain work progress.
  • Coordinate with client representatives regarding work execution, site access, permits, inspections, and work priorities.
  • Ensure work areas are maintained in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
Health, Safety & Environment
  • Ensure compliance with company and client HSE procedures, policies, and site regulations.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety briefings.
  • Verify compliance with permit-to-work requirements and safe work practices.
  • Report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions in a timely manner.
  • Participate in incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions when required.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture among site personnel and subcontractors.
Quality Control
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work prior to client inspections and handover.
  • Monitor and ensure timely correction of deficiencies identified during inspections.
  • Maintain quality records and documentation as required.
Planning & Reporting
  • Prepare daily site reports, manpower reports, and progress updates.
  • Monitor progress against work schedules and report potential delays or resource constraints to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of manpower, equipment utilization, materials consumption, and completed work activities.
  • Assist management in planning resource requirements and upcoming work activities.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise and motivate skilled, semi-skilled, and general workforce personnel.
  • Provide guidance, instruction, and technical support to site teams.
  • Maintain discipline, productivity, and effective communication within the workforce.
  • Support the development and training of junior personnel as required.
Skills Education
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction and maintenance activities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working within oil & gas facilities, industrial sites, utilities, or infrastructure projects is required.
  • Experience working at remote site locations is preferred.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction and maintenance practices.
  • Practical experience in concrete works, earthworks, excavation, drainage systems, road repairs, structural civil works, and general building maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and site safety requirements.
  • Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting.
