What You'll Do
Commercial Management- Lead the commercial administration of major trade packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, payment certifications, and back‑charge recovery.
- Monitor package performance against budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Support cost forecasting, budgeting, and monthly commercial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial procedures.
- Evaluate contractual changes and assess their commercial impact.
- Support dispute avoidance and resolution through accurate commercial records and documentation.
- Act as the primary commercial interface with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders for assigned packages.
- Represent the company during valuation meetings and commercial negotiations.
- Provide guidance and supervision to Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors.
- Review commercial outputs and ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
- Promote commercial best practices across project teams.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- MRICS (or equivalent professional accreditation) is strongly preferred.
- Master’s Degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of Quantity Surveying experience within large‑scale building, civil, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing major trade packages independently.
- Strong background in variations, claims, final accounts, subcontract management, and cost control.
- Experience managing large steel, façade, and complex construction packages is highly preferred.
- GCC experience is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and commercial practices.
- Advanced cost management and forecasting capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
