Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures tailored to civil construction site operations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks and ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver effective HSE training programs for all site personnel, fostering a strong safety culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HSE experience specifically within the civil construction industry.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful HSE management systems on large-scale civil projects.
