Site Superintendent

Role Purpose

The Landscape Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all landscape construction activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project specifications and quality standards. The role involves managing site teams, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and client coordination.

• Supervise daily landscape construction activities, including softscape and hardscape works.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate site operations to meet project schedules and milestones.
• Monitor work progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently to maximize productivity.
• Evaluate workforce performance and provide guidance when required.
• Ensure all landscape works meet company and client quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of planting, irrigation, paving, structures, and other landscape elements.
• Enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with company safety procedures.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage. Verify material quality upon delivery and ensure compliance with approved specifications.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in landscape construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in large-scale landscape, irrigation, and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of landscape construction methods, irrigation systems, and plant materials.
