Civil Engineer - PSS/ESF

Responsibilities
- Supervise civil construction activities for PSS and ESF facilities.
- Execute foundations for BESS containers, PCS units, transformers, inverter stations, switch gear and auxiliary buildings.
- Monitor construction of equipment foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, underground utilities, access roads, drainage systems, and retaining structures.
- Review IFC drawings, BOQs, method statements and technical specifications before execution.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, QA/QC, survey and commissioning teams.
- Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Supervise excavation, back filling, compaction, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting and finishing works.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and daily construction progress.
- Verify survey points, levels and foundation dimensions before construction.
- Raise inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate inspections with QA/QC.
- Maintain DPRs, progress reports and quantity tracking.
- Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and permit‑to‑work systems.
- Support testing, pre‑commissioning and project handover activities.
- 5–12 years of civil construction experience.
- Minimum 2 years in Solar PV, BESS, Power Plant, Substation, or Industrial EPC projects.
- Experience in utility‑scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
- GCC/Middle East experience is an advantage.
