Responsibilities
Prepare claims for variations, extensions of time, and other contractual entitlements.
Analyze tender submissions ensuring compliance with specifications and identifying potential discrepancies.
Prepare and submit interim and final payment valuations, assessing work completed and certifying payments.
Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, and payment certificates.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation within the construction industry.
- Proven expertise using cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Buildsoft) and BIM proficiency.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant building regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of local languages is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
