Construction Superintendent - Piping - Walkin Chennai

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct all piping construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Manage and coordinate the work of piping foremen, supervisors, and craft labor to optimize crew productivity and workflow. Interpret and implement piping drawings, isometric P&IDs, and material specifications to ensure correct installation. Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.

Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline from a recognized institution. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience specifically in piping construction within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power sectors. Proven track record of successfully managing large‑scale piping projects from fabrication to commissioning. Possession of relevant certifications such as CSWIP 1, ASNT Level II, or equivalent is highly advantageous.

• Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, or Onshore.
• Gulf or ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean‑shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates with Metro, Building, or Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.

Age Criteria:
Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
