The Fit Out Estimator is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for interior design and fit‑out projects, including materials, labor, subcontractors, and timelines. The Fit Out Estimator reviews drawings and specifications, conducts quantity take‑offs, and coordinates with project managers, designers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure accurate pricing and budgeting.
This role also includes analyzing bids, updating cost databases, tracking project costs, and preparing reports to support decision‑making. The Fit Out Estimator is expected to participate in site visits, attend project meetings, and support the tendering and negotiation process while maintaining alignment with quality and deadline expectations.
- Strong skills in cost estimation, quantity surveying, and budget preparation for interior design and fit‑out projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Experience using estimation and project management software, as well as MS Excel and other relevant digital tools.
- Solid understanding of construction materials, finishes, fit‑out methods, and local market pricing in the UAE.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to work with designers, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Previous experience in fit‑out, interior contracting, or construction estimation within the UAE is a must.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering.
- Commitment to ethical practices, safety standards, and continuous improvement in processes and outcomes.
