We are seeking an experienced
Safety Engineer to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) complianceacross large-scale industrial, warehouse, logistics, and commercialconstruction projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with OSHAD, UAE HSE regulations, client safety requirements, and internationalbest practices while promoting a proactive safety culture throughout all project phases.
- Implement and monitor project HSEplans, policies, and procedures in accordance with UAE regulations and client requirements.
- Conduct routine site safety inspections, audits, and workplace hazard assessments.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Safe Work Method Statements(SWMS/MS), and HSE documentation.
- Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems including hot work, confined space, excavation, electrical isolation,and lifting operations.
- Ensure safe execution of high-riskactivities including lifting operations, working at height, structural steelerection, scaffolding, excavation, and heavy equipment operations.
- Deliver site safety inductions,toolbox talks, awareness campaigns, and HSE training programs.
- Monitor compliance with PPErequirements, housekeeping standards, and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents,near misses, and unsafe acts; prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate emergency preparednessplans, mock drills, evacuation procedures, and first aid arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHADrequirements, Abu Dhabi HSE regulations, project HSE plans, and client standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers,Site Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client HSE representatives onsafety matters.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthlyHSE reports, statistics, and compliance documentation.
- Support internal and external HSEaudits and ensure timely close-out of observations and NCRs.
- Promote a proactive safety culturethrough continuous monitoring and employee engagement.
