NOW HIRING AN INFRASTRUCTURE DIRECTOR – ABU DHABI
Our client is an international tier 1 PMC, delivering a large scale master development on behalf of a tier 1 Developer in Abu Dhabi.
Position:The position will lead the infrastructure project from the final design stages and take the project to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the full project lifecycle from concept design through to construction, commissioning and handover of major infrastructure projects.
- Directed multidisciplinary design teams to ensure technical quality, buildability and compliance with project objectives.
- Managed the transition from design into delivery, ensuring programmes, budgets and project milestones were achieved.
- Oversee contractors, consultants and site teams to drive safe, efficient and high quality project execution.
- Provided commercial oversight, including contract administration, change management, risk mitigation and cost control.
- Built and maintained relationships with key stakeholders to support timely decision making and project approvals.
- Lead project governance, reporting progress, key risks and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Identified and resolved technical, commercial and operational issues to minimise programme delays and project risk.
- Ensured all works complied with relevant regulations, quality standards and health and safety requirements.
- Mentored and developed project teams, promoting collaboration, accountability and high performance across the project lifecycle.
- 20+ years experience
- 3+ years UAE experience, preferably Abu Dhabi
- A previous track record delivering projects valued AED 500m+ to completion
- A stable work history working for tier 1 PMC’s & Developers
- Available in 1 month or less
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred
- Hold a relevant industry degree
