We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in construction planning, scheduling, and project supervision across major infrastructure developments involving pipelines, chambers, roads, utility services, and MEP packages. Immediate joiners currently based in the UAE are strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with site teams, and supporting efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities- Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar planning software.
- Prepare, maintain, and optimize detailed project execution schedules.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule risks and delays.
- Perform project cost control and schedule performance analysis.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, and site teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Plan and supervise infrastructure activities related to pipelines, chambers, roads, utility services, and MEP packages.
- Support project management with planning insights and schedule recommendations.
- Ensure planning activities align with contractual and project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction planning and supervision within the UAE.
- Proven experience on infrastructure projects involving pipelines, chambers, roads, service lines, and MEP packages.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with project scheduling, planning, and cost control.
- Ability to prepare progress reports and project performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure construction methodologies.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
