Lead the Project Construction team to support objectives and strategies
Champion safety in all construction aspects of the Project and promote the safety objective that "Nobody gets Hurt"
Manage the Construction teams responsible for the planning, development and operations to ensure construction execution
Manage the Contractor's construction planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements
Establish a construction organization to implement the Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of construction team positions
Provide construction and execution strategy support to the Project Team through construction oversight and assistance
Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures
Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for Construction, including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work

ResponsibilitiesAssist in the review and implementation of all Contractor safety plans
Steward interfaces and interactions between the Contractor and other UZ Projects, Production Operations, and Drilling
Manage the interface with ADNOC to execute brownfield works in order to minimize disruption in ongoing production operations
Ensure that the detailed design deliverables support constructability
Report on construction progress, performance, initiatives and issues to the Project Team
Lead construction planning teams to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities
Sponsor construction related readiness reviews, constructability workshops and CERs
Take a leadership role in mentoring and training UAE Nationals in construction management
Clearly communicate direct reports short term and long-term goals that support the project objectives
Encourage and recognize outstanding performance, and ensure that staff are appraised regularly and developed accordingly
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent
Master's degree in management or equivalent
Minimum Twenty 20+ years' experience within the oil & gas sector, with broad Construction Management experience on major projects
Experience with contractors and suppliers worldwide
Experience in the recruitment and development of technical staff
Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
