• Measuring areas using GPS equipment or other surveying instruments.
• Preparing topographical surveys, analyzing survey data and creating maps according to the measurements taken on-site.
• Inspecting completed projects or making comparisons against plans or blueprints.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols while on-site visiting areas that will be surveyed.
• Providing guidance to personnel during survey projects and other fieldwork activities.
• Reviewing all survey results before submitting them for review and inputting data into the appropriate software packages or systems as needed.
