We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Scaffolding Inspector in Abu Dhabi, UAE
. Our client is a reputed organization in the Inspection & Maintenance Services sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals.
- Inspect scaffolding structures before use and during service to verify structural integrity and safe operating conditions.
- Assess scaffolding-related risks and identify unsafe conditions, defects, improper erection, or inadequate access arrangements.
- Review structural and operational parameters before granting authorization for scaffold use.
- Verify scaffolding components, foundations, bracing, ties, platforms, guardrails, access points, and load conditions.
- Ensure scaffolding erection, modification, dismantling, and usage comply with applicable project and safety requirements.
- Issue inspection status or authorization only after confirming that the scaffold is safe for intended operations.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, findings, corrective-action requirements, and scaffold status documentation.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, scaffolders, safety personnel, and maintenance teams to resolve inspection observations.
- Scaffolding Inspection: Strong practical ability to inspect erected scaffold systems and identify structural or safety deficiencies.
- Risk Assessment: Ability to evaluate hazards associated with scaffold configuration, access, loading, stability, and site conditions.
- Structural & Operational Review: Competence in reviewing scaffold parameters before approving work execution.
- Safety Compliance: Strong knowledge of safe scaffolding practices and inspection requirements.
- Execution Authorization: Ability to make technically sound decisions regarding whether scaffolding is suitable and safe for use.
- Experience in industrial inspection or maintenance environments.
- Strong scaffold inspection reporting and documentation capability.
- Familiarity with permit-to-work and site safety coordination processes.
Candidates must have 5 years of experience relevant to scaffolding inspection and associated safety activities. Experience should include assessing scaffold safety, reviewing risks and structural or operational conditions, and providing technical authorization for safe execution.
EducationMinimum: Typical requirement — Diploma or technical qualification in Engineering, Construction, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline
Preferred: Typical — relevant advanced scaffolding/safety certification
Additional: Candidate must be a certified technical expert
