Senior Planner

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to support planning and project controls for major construction and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will be responsible for programme development, schedule monitoring, progress reporting, delay analysis, and coordination with project stakeholders and contractors.

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project programmes using Primavera P6
  .
• Review contractor baseline programmes, updates, recovery programmes, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and key milestones.
• Analyse delays, slippages, critical paths, and schedule risks.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and project controls teams.
• Review contractor progress claims and validate reported physical progress.
• Support EOT, delay and disruption analysis where required.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation/recovery measures.
• Ensure project programmes are aligned with contractual requirements and project objectives.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline

• 8–12 years of planning/scheduling experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong UAE/GCC PMC or client-side experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and project scheduling techniques.
• Strong understanding of critical path, resource loading, progress measurement, and earned value.
• Experience with major infrastructure, roads, bridges, utilities, buildings, or similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and FIDIC is an advantage.
• PMP, PMI-SP or AACE certification is desirable.
