We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor experience in building construction, preferably within luxury residential, high-rise, or complex developments. The role will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of MEP works, ensuring effective cost control and accurate financial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review MEP cost estimates, BOQs, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Review MEP drawings, specifications, and scope of works to identify quantities and commercial requirements.
  • Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor comparisons.
  • Monitor project costs, variations, commitments, and payment applications.
  • Review and assess variations, claims, and subcontractor payments.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and verify measurements for MEP works.
  • Assist with procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
  • Monitor costs against approved budgets and highlight potential cost overruns.
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and prepare cost reports.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Contractors, and MEP teams on commercial matters.
  • Support contract administration, final accounts, and project close-out.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant MEP Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Experience with MEP works in high-rise, luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP quantities, cost estimation, BOQs, variations, claims, and payments.
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and quantity surveying / cost management software.
  • UAE/GCC experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
