Safety Officer​/Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with the project HSE requirements procedures and applicable regulations
• Monitor and supervise site personnel to ensure safe work practices are maintained at all times
• Prepare and review risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented
• Issue and monitor daily Permit to Work PTW for site activities
• Prepare daily weekly and monthly HSE reports
• Conduct HSE inductions toolbox talks and internal training sessions for site personnel
• Perform regular inspections of the worksite equipment tools and machinery to ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to ensure all required third-party inspections certifications and mandatory training are completed on time
• Prepare and maintain project HSE documentation including HSE Plan Emergency Response Plan ERP Waste Management Plan Environmental Management Plan EMP Other project-specific HSE documents as required

• NEBOSH Certificate (minimum requirement).
• 3–10 years of UAE construction experience, preferably in infrastructure, industrial plants, or substations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
