We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage civil and architectural construction activities for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with UAE regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Supervise daily site activities related to civil and architectural works.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, project schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Manage material inspections, shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Monitor labor, equipment, and material utilization to optimize productivity.
- Assist in project planning, cost control, and scheduling.
- Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and architectural construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, finishing works, structural and architectural drawings
- Experience in residential, commercial, and high-rise building projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE standards
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teams
- Abu Dhabi Municipality/DMT Engineer Registration (advantage)
- Experience with architectural finishes, structural works, and fit-out coordination (preferred)
- Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project documentation (preferred)
- Knowledge of BIM and construction management software (advantage)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
