We are seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to join our high-speed rail tunneling project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will oversee the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding structures to support tunneling activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities- Supervise the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems on site to support tunneling operations.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with safety regulations, engineering standards, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Coordinate with site engineers, safety officers, and other supervisors to plan and execute scaffolding activities efficiently.
- Train and mentor scaffolding teams to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety awareness.
- Prepare daily progress reports and document any incidents or deviations related to scaffolding work.
- Manage resources including materials, manpower, and equipment to meet project timelines and budget.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor in large-scale construction projects, preferably in tunneling or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques, safety regulations, and engineering standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and scaffolding designs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and guide on-site teams effectively.
- Valid safety certifications related to scaffolding and construction site operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, adapting to project needs.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi and work on-site for the duration of the project.
