Site Engineer

Join a project that’s shaping the digital future. We’re looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Electrical to support the successful delivery of a major, high-value data centre project in Abu Dhabi.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution and supervision of electrical installation works within your assigned area, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.

As a Site Engineer – Electrical, you will play a key role in the site execution of electrical works, coordinating with supervisors, subcontractors, engineers, QA/QC, safety and commissioning teams to ensure installation activities are completed in accordance with project requirements.

You will support the delivery of mission-critical electrical systems while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, productivity and technical compliance.

You will work closely with the Section Manager, Project Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, QA/QC, HSE, engineering and commissioning teams.

The team is responsible for coordinating and executing electrical works across the project, ensuring activities are properly planned, technically compliant and delivered in line with programme and quality expectations.

• Ensure site works comply with contract specs, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare material submittals and track approvals.
• Develop method statements and risk assessments.
• Monitor procurement schedules and follow up on deliveries.
• Control approved drawings and as-built documentation.
• Inspect works, raise inspection requests, and coordinate with site teams.
• Report progress, delays, and site issues to senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project close-out documentation.
• This role is full time and follows a Monday to Saturday work week, typical for project-based positions in our industry

• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical construction / MEP experience
  , preferably on major building, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience supervising electrical installation works on site.
• UAE construction experience is highly preferred, with working knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements.
• Previous exposure to data centre, mission-critical, industrial or technically complex projects would be advantageous.
