Surveying Assistant

The surveying assistant will play a crucial role in assisting the surveyor with various tasks related to land surveys and mapping. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, physically fit, and has a strong interest in surveying.

• Assist the surveyor with conducting land surveys using specialized equipment
• Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, and records
• Help set up and operate surveying instruments such as levels, total stations, and GPS receivers
• Conduct basic data analysis and produce maps using computer software
• Carry out physical tasks such as measuring distances, cutting brush, and setting markers
• Ensure that all survey equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Proficient in basic math skills including algebra and geometry
• Familiarity with surveying equipment and software is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Fluent in Nepali language (English proficiency is not required)
• Must be based in Abu Dhabi or willing to relocate

Salary: 1500 USD per month

This is a contract position without prior experience necessary. However, candidates with some background knowledge or experience in surveying will be given preference.
